Who doesn’t love Aam panna?

The most popular Indian drink to beat the heat.

But what if I say you can enjoy this as your dessert too.

I tried this recipe as my birthday dessert 2 years back and since then it’s a regular summer treat.

Oh boy, an absolute flavour bomb. 😋😋😋

🥭Raw mango rasgulla shots

❣️For Aam panna

👉Ingredients:

1 medium Raw Mango (Tart)
2 tsp Roasted Jeera powder
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp dry ginger powder
1/4 tsp Roasted carrom seeds (finely grounded)
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
2 tsp black salt
1 tablespoon Mint powder
1/2 tsp Green Cardomom powder
1/4 tsp Coriander powder
A pinch of asfeotida
8 saffron strands
green food colour (optional)
Few ice cubes

👉Method:
•Wash raw mango and roast on gas top, directly on the burner till it chars. Roast all sides on low flame.
•Let it cool, remove the skin, then the seed inside and then puree till smooth.
•To this add ice cubes, all the spices and condiments.
•Let it Chill.

❣️For Rasgulla (9 Rasgulla)

👉Ingredients:

2 cup milk
1 tablespoon Lime juice

👉Method:

•Boil Milk, add lemon juice. Let it curdle for 2 minutes and switch off the gas.
•Drain the whey water and transfer to a muslin cloth.
•Run through fresh water to remove the acidic taste. Hang it for half an hour. It should be crumbly.

👉For the Syrup:

•Take 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of sugar. Dissolve and bring it to a boil.
Mash the paneer gently for 4-5 minutes till its smooth but not greasy.
•Make 9 equal balls. Gently add to the sugar syrup and let them cook for 5 minutes at constant heat. They will swell up to double.
•Cook for 5 more minutes and switch off the gas. Keep for 20 minutes undisturbed.
•Gently remove the rasgullas from the syrup and squeeze out the extra syrup.
•Similarly remove all the rasgullas and squeeze out the syrup.
•Mix this sugar syrup to the Aam Panna mixture. Taste and add contents as per your preference.
Add the Rasgullas to the prepared panna and let it sit in it for 5 to 6 hours

❣️Assembling:

Pour the chilled Aam panna in shot glasses.
With the help of a Tooth pick place the Rasgullas on top.
Enjoy every sip and bite.
Slurp slurp.. GOOD!!
