✨Cold Chocolate Baklava ✨

Here is the recipe guys, I guarantee that you will love love love it! 🔥🤌

1 pack of phyllo
160 g butter
3/4 (one half + one quarter) tea glass of sunflower oil (a little less than 1 tea glass)

⚡For sherbet/syrup;
2 cups sugar
1 glass of water
2 cups of milk

⚡For between the layers;
1 bowl of coarsely ground pistachios (sub hazelnuts or walnuts)
(Tip: pistachio is the most suitable nut for baklava.) ✨

⚡For the above;
I used chocolate chips but you can also use cocoa powder rather than chips. Both are awesome!

*Let’s make the syrup first. For this, let’s take sugar and water in our pot and let it boil. After 5 minutes of boiling, take it off the stove and let it cool.

*Next, let’s melt the butter in a small sauce pan. While melting, let’s remove the foam that forms on it with the help of a spoon.
After oil melts, let’s take it off the stove and add sunflower oil on it and mix it.

*Let’s take our baklava dough on the counter and cut it according to the baking pan we will use. I used a 27cm one.
*Separate the dough evenly. If there are 10, you can separate them 5 on top and 5 on the bottom. Spread 1 tablespoon of the oil mixture on the floor of the bowl, put the dough on it. make 5 layers like this. Add any nuts you want to the middle layer, I use peanuts, but walnuts are also very good. Do the same loop on it another 5 times. Oil + dough.
*Preheat the oven at 170°C on the upside-down fanless setting.
*There should be a greasy pastry on the top. Cut your baklava the way you want it and put it in the oven. It takes about 60-72 min to cook.

✨Please wait until it is browned all over without rushing.✨

While the baklava is cooking, add the milk of the syrup.
Take the fried baklava out of the oven and wait 10-15 minutes, UNTIL THE TEMPERATURE DECREASES.

*Pour the syrup all over the cooled baklava. Let it rest for 1 hour to absorb the syrup.
Yes, it is done! I decorated the baklava with grated chocolate. You can use pistachios.

Our cold baklava, which we have rested in the refrigerator, is ready dear friends.
